Suzuki Carry

Introduced in 1961, the Suzuki Carry is arguable one of the most popular Kei Trucks produced. It is sold around the globe under different badges and is the only vehicle ever to be produced and sold under a Chevrolet and Ford badge.

Between 1961 and 2005, the Carry went through 10 generation changes making it one of the most diverse Kei Trucks on the market.

Modern imported Carry’s come with a 660cc engine that is available with either a 3 speed automatic or 5 speed manual. Drivetrain options include a base RWD model or selectable 4WD model with high-low gears. The F6A engine that powers 1990’s Carry’s make approximately 45-50 hp depending on the model year.

The Carry is often outfitted, from the factory, with hydraulic dump beds, hydraulic scissor lifts, hydraulic scissor/dump combo’s, electronic bed mounted cranes, enclosed refrigerated beds, boxed beds or with power lift gates.

Popular aftermarket options include turf or Trax tires, plows, salters, refrigerated beds, dump beds, scissor lifts, cranes and all kind of customizable signage.
